Who we are
Career Caddie is part of The Caddie House. Career Caddie helps job seekers by honing their resume to a target role and providing a readiness scorecard and interview prep. You can reach us any time at ceo@businesscaddiehq.com.
What we collect
- Contact information you give us — your name and email address when you buy, sign up, or reply to us.
- The resume and job details you upload — the resume you submit, your target role, work history, and any accomplishments you share. This is the material we use to build your kit. It can include personal information, so we treat it carefully, use it only to produce your kit, and don't share it beyond the providers that help us deliver it.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it and shares only limited confirmation details with us.
- Usage & device data — standard information your browser sends (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) which our hosting provider keeps in standard logs so we can keep the site working.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use advertising pixels or tracking cookies. To load quickly, pages fetch fonts from Google Fonts, and the upload page fetches a PDF reader from Cloudflare’s cdnjs; like any website request, those providers see your IP address and browser type. Your resume is read inside your own browser on the upload page and is sent only to us. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie. We honor “Do Not Track” signals where required.
How we use your information
- To deliver the product or service you purchased and communicate with you about it.
- To process payments and prevent fraud (via Stripe).
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To improve our service, using the kits we deliver and the replies you send us.
- To send you service-related messages. We only send marketing email to people who asked for it, and every such message has an unsubscribe option.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make our business run — for example Stripe (payments), the AI model provider that drafts your kit, Google (where intake forms and finished kits are stored), Notion (our client records), and our email and hosting providers — and only to the extent they need it to perform their job for us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
Data retention & your choices
We keep your intake and a copy of your finished kit in our records (Google Drive and Notion) so we can handle revisions and support, and we delete them when you ask. Payment records are kept as required for accounting and tax. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time — just email ceo@businesscaddiehq.com and we'll act on it within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR; we honor those rights on request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we work with established providers (like Stripe and our hosting platform) that maintain their own strong security. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take it seriously.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. We'll post the new version here with an updated date. Material changes take effect when posted.
